Are you ready to take your driving skills to the next level and save money at the same time? If so, then Cadillac Connected Services is exactly what you need. It comes with tons of cool apps that make life easier.
What Is Cadillac Connected Services?
Cadillac connected services are designed to help you with all things related to driving. It can do a variety of things like keep track of your vehicle's health and alert you when it's time for maintenance, help improve your driving skills, and possibly even save you money.
Some of the apps that are equipped on it include Vehicle Diagnostics, Marketplace, Cadillac Smart Driver, and the MyCadillac Mobile App. Each has its own role to play in making your driving experience both smoother and more pleasant.
Vehicle Diagnostics
This is the perfect app for anyone who gets tired of trying to keep up when they need to get an oil change or rotating the tires. Rather than trying to remember, you can simply check the vehicle diagnostics.
It will send you alerts when it's time for maintenance. The Dealer Maintenance Notification not only sends messages to you when it's time for an oil change, but it will also notify your preferred dealer. This helps keep them in the loop, and if you forget to bring you Cadillac because you simply forgot, your dealer can reach out to you to schedule an appointment.
Cadillac Connected Services also gives you a heads up that your vehicle needs some tender loving car. This feature is known as Proactive Alerts. It helps in a number of ways, by sensing potential problems before they turn into a major headache.
When this happens, you will be sent a notification informing you that there might be a problem so you can bring it in for repairs. Rather than being hit with a massive bill for major repairs, you'll be able to take your Cadillac in for repairs while the problem is still little.
Cadillac Smart Driver
If you're a competitive person, you'll love the Cadillac Smart Driver. It helps you learn more about your driving habits and then compares it to other anonymous drivers. This tells you where you are, and how you can improve.
If you're prone to riding your brakes, it will tell you. This will help prevent wear and tear on the brakes, which means you don't have to spend more money to get new ones.
It can also show you ways to improve your mileage. Cadillac Smart Driver will show you how to be more fuel-efficient. If you want to save money at the pumps, this is a great way to do so.
According to OnStar, "Upon the Member's consent and enrollment in Smart Driver, depending on vehicle capability, the vehicle will collect specific driving behavior data, including hard braking events, hard acceleration events, time spent idle, speeds over 120 km/h, when a trip occurs and the number of kilometers driven."
That's not the only way Cadillac Smart Driver can save you money. If you feel like you pay too much for car insurance, then you can check the Smart Driver app for discounts. Not all insurance carriers participate, or might only offer discounts at certain times of the year, but the Insurance Discounts Eligibility feature will make sure you never miss out on a great deal.
Marketplace
Whether you love shopping or hate it, Marketplace will make the experience better than ever.
It also helps with finding and paying for parking according to Car Scoops. Are you sick of driving around in circles, trying to find a place to park? Then you'll love the Marketplace app.
Car Scoops reports, "Eligible Cadillac drivers can locate, reserve, and pay for parking even before reaching their destination using their in-vehicle touchscreen. The new capability is powered by Park Whiz, an Arrive company."
All you need to do is set up a Park Whiz account, which is linked to the Cadillac Marketplace. Once that's done, you'll have access to tons of great features like booking a park place, finding locations to park, get important details about the lot, and access the entry/exit parking pass. All this is done using your Cadillac's touchscreen.
Mobile App

The Cadillac Mobile App makes life just a little easier. You can get it on either Apple or Android, meaning you can use it no matter which phone brand you prefer.
If you hate flipping through a thick owner's manual, trying to figure out what that weird light on the dashboard means, you can skip the book. Simply pull out your phone, open the Cadillac Mobile app, and look it up.
If you're away from home and need some quick maintenance, the Mobile app can help you locate a Cadillac dealer. You can also schedule maintenance appointments from the app.
It's also easier than ever to check for recalls on the app. Just log in, search for your vehicle, and you'll know if you need to contact your dealer to schedule an appointment.
