Safety, Security, and Peace of Mind
Automated Assist - For more than 20 years, OnStar has been offering Cadillac drivers the protection of in-vehicle services, if and when you experience a problem. Built-in sensors alert an OnStar on-call operator in the event of a vehicle crash. That alert also provides the exact location of the vehicle involved. Available 24/7, the operator will try to contact you in the event of an alert. If the operator cannot reach you, he or she will contact emergency services to immediately go out to the location.
Emergency Assistance – Beyond accident assist, should a driver experience some other type of health problems such as chest pain, shortness of breath, or dizziness, you need only push the OnStar button in your Cadillac. The operator will connect you to an EMD-certified OnStar advisor and will contact local emergency services for you.
Roadside Assistance - If you should have car problems, such as a dead battery, or a flat tire, simply push your in car, OnStar button, and request roadside service to your exact location.
Stolen Vehicle Assistance - Through its stolen vehicle assistance program, On-Star makes it far more difficult for others to access your vehicle including a remote ignition block. Furthermore, should someone achieve access, or you experience a carjacking, On-Star may be able provide a stolen vehicle slowdown. This assistance service can also track your vehicle and assist police with current location information.
Guardian In-Vehicle App
Now On-Star has gone much further in providing the assistance and the convenience needed in driving your Cadillac today. Through the In-Vehicle app, drivers can check in with The Weather Channel, access Spotify or Pandora, and much more.
On-Star offers Cadillac owners turn-by-turn navigation, while you are behind the wheel. And, through Connected Navigation, you can access current traffic conditions along your route. Just ask Alexa, or access your touchscreen on the dash.
Whether you need to fill up the tank, or pick up some dinner, OnStar's Marketplace allows you to place your order and pay right from the convenience of your dash. These days, we need access with less physical contact, and OnStar provides that for its Cadillac customers.
Access Your Gas Gauge, And More, By Phone
Whether you are preparing to go to the office, or on a trip, through On-Star's Vehicle Mobile App you can check your fuel gauge, and your oil level, from inside your home or office. Concerned about your tire pressure? You can check all four of those, too. And, if someone else drove the car last, you can even change the radio to your preferred station before getting in the car.
4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot
If you have passengers in need of internet access, or if you need to hook-up our laptop to check in before a meeting, OnStar offers Cadillac owner's access to its 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. The hotspot is available for up to seven devices, not that you'll need to log-in that many at once, but it's certainly enough to tend to business while keeping the kids entertained.
