Cadillac revealed the Escalade V in January but didn't give any specifications or release date. The company has recently announced that it'll divulge the Cadillac Escalade V details on May 11.

Cadillac Escalade's V's Powertrain

It's not clear yet what powertrain will power this Cadillac series. The details most Cadillac lovers want about the release are the performance specifications. The expectation is that Escalade V will outperform its predecessors. While it may use the same supercharged 6.2-liter V8 as the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, it's bound to be superior. It's 649 pound-feet and 668 horsepower of torque in that area. The Escalade also comes with a 10-automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Its power output will be approximately 650 hp.

If the brand's plan is anything to go by, the SUV might come with a tuned-down engine version. That will leave room for the entry of a Blackwing model with better performance later. The larger brakes will manage the added performance and also increase the stopping power for the SUV's sample weight. A hint about the red brake calipers suggests they could be from Brembo.

The tires will be from Bridgestone, but the size appears more in the 22-inch range in the first instance. There's a possibility that the Escalade V will use GM's Magnetic Ride Control adaptive suspension as it is the standard.

Cadillac Escalade's V's Design

Concrete details about the SUV aren't available yet, but the accessible visual data confirms that it's indeed an Escalade. The new Cadillac has a set of distinct visual touches with a unique front-end design. The mesh grille is a new addition to Cadillac cars, not forgetting the revised lower bumper and daytime running lights with new sportier-looking housing.

Things are subtler at the back, with a new lower valance. It's impossible to miss the four giant, round exhaust pipes. The manufacturer also swapped out the chrome trim, replacing it with black.

Cadillac Gets a Badge

An interior image confirms that the Cadillac V series has always been at the brand's heart. The V-series badge on the leather-wrapped steering wheel is distinctive, signifying a blend of refinement, boldness, enhanced street driving, and performance-inspired styling. The Escalade V marks the fearless elevation of performance, design, and technology. That's not all, as the final release may have more outstanding V-Series interior touches throughout the model.

Cadillac will provide more details about the SUV's availability for the 2023 model year and when the order books will be open. The company hasn't released the pricing information yet, but it won't be cheap. The Cadillac Escalade starts from approximately $77,000, and it might command more than six figures, being the fourth generation in the legendary V-series.

Are You Ready to Get Yourself the Cadillac Escalade 2023?

The old saying "there are Cadillacs, and then there is the Escalade" couldn't be more accurate than now as the brand plans to reveal the 2023 Cadillac Escapade V. The SUV isn't the brand's only flagship. Still, it's the perfect platform for the brand to display its design and technological chops.

Like most other recent versions, the Cadillac Escalade V shows a high degree of outstanding performance. The model will derive immense power from the supercharged V8 engine and will be the first to receive the V-series treatment. As the world awaits its release, it's evident that this is a cycle that spells style and status.
