The XT6 comes in three trims: Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport. They have standard features and equipment, such as seven seats to haul a whole family, an 8-inch touch screen to keep you entertained, a Super Cruise system to allow limited hands-free driving, tri-zone automatic climate control to keep you comfortable, etc.

The exterior of the XT6 features an edgy front-end design, with a prominent mesh grille and linked headlights that catch the eye. It wears the typical two-box shape, with crisp lines on the sides and a slight upturn at the rear. From the rear, its slim LED taillights give it an aesthetic look.
It comes in silver; you will have to pay about $600 for any other color.
The interior of the XT6 is sleek and cohesive, with quality finishes like carbon fiber and chrome and several padded surfaces. All models come with synthetic leather, but you can opt for aniline leather to make it feel more exclusive.
Front seats are heated, but you can upgrade to heated second-row seats. Other interior upgrades include a heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats.
It has an 8-inch touch screen, Bluetooth, an eight-speaker stereo, six USB ports, a WiFi hotspot, Android Auto, wireless Apple CarPlay, 8-speaker stereo, and automatic climate control. You can upgrade the package for more infotainment tech.

Although the Cadillac XT6's cabin is spacious with its three rows of seats, it doesn't beat Caddy's biggest SUV: the massive Escalade. But it's bigger than the XT4 and XT5. It is 16.5 feet long and weighs between 4,362 to 4,690 pounds.

The XT6 has three rows that seat seven people, but you can trade the second-row bench seat for captain's chairs and reduce the capacity to six.
The first and second rows have enough legroom and headroom, comfortable even for taller occupants. The third row has a smaller room, but kids or shorter adults will be comfortable.
The cargo space is 12.6 cubic feet but can be increased to 43 cubic feet when the third row is lowered and a whopping 78.7 cubic feet with the second row folded. This is one of the largest cargo capacities of luxury midsize SUVs and can accommodate most bulkier items, such as furniture.

The 2023 Cadillac XT6 engine options: a base 2.0-liter four-cylinder 237-horsepower engine and a 3.6-liter V6 310-horsepower engine. The 2.0-liter has sufficient power but doesn't have the luxury appeal of the 3.6-liter V6. It also struggles (you'll hear it sounding coarse and strained) to accelerate the SUV up to highway speeds, especially when carrying a load.
All of them have 9-speed automatic and front-wheel drive, with all-wheel drive available for either model.

For a luxury midsize SUV, the XT6 has above-average fuel economy. With front-wheel drive, the four-cylinder engine nets 27 mpg on the highway and 21 mpg in the city. All-wheel drive nets 26 mpg on the highway and 21 mpg in the city.
The V6 engine has 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway with front-wheel drive, and 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway with all-wheel drive.
